Baylor & Beyond Program Director
Baylor & Beyond Program Director
I was born in London and have lived in various locations throughout the UK, Cyprus, and the United States. I have also travelled extensively and have developed a passion for learning about culture and community.
I received my BA (hons) in English Literature from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, a Post Graduate Teaching Certificate from the Institute of Education in London, and my MA in Youth and Family Ministry in Tennessee. After teaching in Europe for many years, I moved to the US with my husband in 2007 and began working in higher education shortly after. Together, we joined the Baylor family in 2012, where I worked in Campus Living and Learning for several years. My passion for global communities partnered with my commitment to education led me to the role of Program Director at Baylor & Beyond LLC in May 2019. I strive to create a real home and community for the North Russell residents and I love meeting students from all over the country and the world. In addition to travelling, I like to read, cook, bake, and watch movies, TV shows, and plays.

I grew up in Lamesa, Texas, a rural West Texas community. I received my bachelor’s degree in English from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas where I also studied religion and theology. During my time as a student leader at Hardin-Simmons, I became enamored with all things college life. I was inspired by my professors and student life staff members who mentored me, and I met peers who have become dear, life-long friends. My undergraduate experience sparked a passion for college students’ sense of belonging, development of community, and holistic well-being as they study, explore, and grow as individuals.
I attended Baylor University where I earned my master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs and served as graduate apprentice in Student Activities. After two years advising a campus programming board at an out-of-state institution, I am thrilled to return to Baylor and serve students in the North Russell community with Campus Living & Learning and the Baylor & Beyond LLC. Outside of my time spent with college students, I enjoy walking around Waco gems (Cameron Park, Brazos Riverwalk), antiquing, playing games, reading, and spending time with friends.
My hope is that every North Russell resident has the opportunity to pursue their interests, learn about their fellow peers and other cultures or worldviews, and discover something about North Russell and

Baylor & Beyond Faculty Director

As the faculty director, my primary job in the hall is to coordinate our neighborhood program, mentor our neighborhood leaders, and make connections between our student groups and academic/co-curricular units on Baylor’s campus. Aside from this, I teach first- and second-year Spanish. I am also the faculty advisor for Baylor’s Gymnastics Club and Gamma Alpha Omega, a multi-cultural sorority. I was born and raised in a small Texas border town called San Juan. I left San Juan to attend Williams College in Massachusetts where I majored in English and Spanish. I speak both pretty proficiently! I received my MA in Spanish literature and linguists from Baylor. On my spare time, I like hiking, kayaking and yoga—preferably in locations abroad. My office is in Old Main 380 if ever you would like to chat.

I was born just a few minutes outside of Waco in Fort Hood. As the city implies, I was born to a military family, so we traveled to a few places in Texas and then moved up to Iowa for a while. Following my dad’s retirement, my family and I returned to Laredo, TX (my hometown) where I completed high school and decided on coming to Baylor to pursue my dreams of medical school with a degree in Cellular Molecular Biology
Throughout my years at Baylor, I served many students as a Welcome Week Leader, a member of the Baylor Care Team during the height of the pandemic, and as a Peer leader to first year and transfer students. I have served the Baylor community, all in the hope of facilitating student transitions from high school to college and to be a helpful and caring peer to all; thus, I decided not to attend medical school in order to continue to serve students at Baylor, and I am pursuing a master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs.

I was born in a small city in California outside of San Francisco. I went to a small Christian school in Southern California called Azusa Pacific University where I received my bachelor’s degree in Communication Management. During my time at APU, I got to serve in a number of leadership roles such as Orientation Leader and Resident Advisor. Throughout these experiences, I fell in love with serving students and creating welcoming environments for people to be known and supported as they navigate college life.
As I pursue my Master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs here at Baylor, I hope to continue to create those welcoming environments and support students in their endeavors. I love to hear about people’s stories and get to know them as individuals so feel free to reach out to grab coffee or lunch! In my spare time, I love to watch TV shows and movies, hiking, and playing guitar.

I was born and raised in the beautiful countryside of northeast India. While pursuing my bachelor’s degree, I was introduced to student ministry (UESI) which changed my life. Ever since I fell in love with UESI and became actively involved with church and student ministry. I received a Bachelor of Divinity from India and worked in a school ministry among children. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry at Truett Theological Seminary. Working among college students, listening to their stories and creative ideas, and learning from their young fresh minds is always a great blessing.
I enjoy being part of creating a community that prioritizes love and care for each other. Also, I like helping to create and be a part of an environment where individuals support and influence the growth of others spiritually and mentally. Some of the things I love doing include singing, playing guitar, exploring new places, watching movies, and talking to people. I'm always up for a chat.
